About Shambhu Nath Mahto

Shambhu Nath Mahto is Creative Head at Comix Theory, and is a comics creator with M.Phil in History in 2016. As independent research scholar & a prolific comics creator his career spanning since 2010. He is making a documentary film on Indian comics and hosts the "Pulp Gulp talk show". He is working as project editor in Besra Comics beside working as Penciller,  Inker,  Letterer and Graphic  Designer.

As an author Shambhu Nath Mahto has written a book about the philosophy of death which establishes supremacy of female intelligence, the book is called SAVITRI - Mrityu Gyanam (2018), on which a Graphic Novel adaptation and theatrical play is in the production. 

With over a decade of experience as a visual storyteller and working with various publishers, he continues to bridge the gap between academic history and popular culture.

As a Creative Producer, he oversee the development of graphic novels and produce documentary interviews featuring world-class creators.
